Hello All,
I had my Nest Hello (Wired) Doorbell installed by a Nest Professional on 29th May 2020. I am now noticing heavy peeling of a thin layer of plastic coating on the front of the unit which seems to be affecting video quality and it looks awful. This is happening from all sides of the unit, but namely affecting the front.
I have checked, and this is not the protective cover normally provided from new, that was removed by the Nest Pro installer. This is an actual part of the doorbell manufacturing that has become defective.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I'm UK based and it doesn't get too much sun or heat due to the climate here. I can't believe a unit installed by the Nest Team less than 18 months ago is already showing these type of heavy visual defects.
Any advice?
Thanks all, Adam.

Quick update : I contacted Nest Support by telephone and they have already arranged to exchange it for a replacement unit. Great customer service on the call. Thanks!
