Nest Doorbell Peeling

Hi there- starting a new thread because all others on this topic appeared locked. I have had my Nest doorbell installed for two years and the front is beginning to peel. I am very disappointed because I recently installed two more of these in our lake cottage. I am now concerned that this same thing will happen to my other devices. This doorbell is in a covered area and protected from extreme weather. Google are you able to do anything to support? I have invested in multiple google products across both homes and hope that I will not regret that decision.

thanks!

I am having the exact same issue.  I have had my doorbell for 2 years and it started to delaminate and peel as well.  I have had 2 incidents of the neighbors' kids that got a piece of that plastic stuck in their finger.  This is clearly a manufacturing defect but our warranty period has expired and the official response thus far is "oh well, buy a new one."  This is showing a pattern of malfunction for a lot of users and isn't as "rare" as representatives have stated.

Here's hoping someone at Nest/Google actually cares for their customers and the health of people using their products.
