Nest Doorbell: Thumbnail in event history and the enlarged photo do not match.

When I click on a thumbnail in my event history, the enlarged photo on top does not match. There seems to be a delay between the two images. An example of the issue, is when I look at the thumbnail I see the front view of the person but when I click on it to view the full size image it is already the back of the person. It seams like the full image is a few second after the thumbnail. I do not have Nest Aware and I am only looking at still images, not video. Is there a fix to this, seams like the thumbnail is the correct image but I can't view it full size.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I am terribly sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time with this! I would love to look into this issue further and help find a solution for you. First off, I have some questions I’d like to ask you.

  • Do you still need help with this issue?

  • What troubleshooting steps have you done thus far? 

  • Have you tried to restart your device if you haven’t already?

  • If the restart didn’t work, have you tried to do a Factory Reset? This would be a last resort option, but would clear out issues and the device would essentially be ‘brand new’
