I managed to set up my new Nest doorbell with an indoor chime, mechanical not electronic. After a short while it stopped working and I’ve been unable to get it going again. The ‘Ring indoor chime’ option in settings is set to off and is greyed out so I cannot turn it on. I have tried a reset on the device which had no effect. Other threads I have found online seem inconclusive. Please help, the device is useless and cannot accurately be described as a doorbell if no bell rings inside the house. I have no way of knowing if someone is at the door unless I continuously monitor my phone. Thanks.
