I am relieved to hear that some of you were able to get a replacement! However, I wanted to state here that this is not the outcome for every user. This is a case-by-case situation. For future readers of this post - Google is replacing the doorbell even though it's out of warranty. They're sending a refurbished unit. Will hope for the best.
