Trying to install Google Nest Doorbell (Battery). Installation seems to find the doorbell and then spends a long time saying " looking for a nearby device that can help get your device online faster" and then fails. I have watched videos of other people installing and none of them seem to show that message. I;ve rebooted my iPhone, router, Google mesh multiple times. Yes I have charged the battery and yes i see the blue light on. I successfully am able to scan the QR code. I've updated the google home app. My iphone is up to date with IOS 14.7.1. Any thoughts?

Having the same problem with my nest thermostat.  Looks like no one from nest or google has cared to answer this since September either.

And also using a fully updated iOS device.  Perhaps too fully updated for google/nest to keep up with?
