It seems that many people have posted about the manufacturing defect of the nest doorbell peeling. This is extremely disappointing since we have many other Nest products like smoke detectors, cameras, alarm, etc. that we are happy with.
How can I get this replaced ASAP?
I've had exactly the same issue twice now the second device was swapped out in May 21 and I was out of warranty. I have been on to the. Hat help and they were trying to tell me the replacement device was out of warranty. Not happy at all
I asked for a supervisor and got a senior representative, but they said they can only replace in warranty items even though it clearly had been going on for more than the the past three months when the warranty just expired 11/30/21. Now I am waiting for an email after it gets reviewed for an exception. We will see if that ever happens.
Thank you for your patience. The peeling issue is only associated with the Nest Hello Doorbell, not with the new 2021 Nest Doorbell Battery, just to make sure that there was a clarification there.
