My phone that was connected to my nest wired doorbell drowned in my pool and will not come back to life. How do I connect my nest doorbell to my new phone if I'm unable to remove it from my old phone? Everything I've searched is telling me that's what needs to be done. Short of buying a ring doorbell; what else can be done?

Google Nest products are not connected to your phone but to your Google Nest "home", and you use your Google account to log into the Google Home app or the Google Nest app to access your Google Nest "home". If you are able to install and log into the Google Home app with your new phone, you should be able to access your Nest doorbell. (Just another customer's perspective.)
