Nest Doorbell with Battery - Not changing to seasonal theme

Johnpigg

I've changed my nest doorbell with battery to the Christmas theme at the start of December, but the doorbell is still the standard classic ding dong. I've rebooted the doorbell, and cleared the cache and data in the google home app, but it refuses to change. It worked perfectly for the Halloween theme but not now. In the app it says its on the Christmas theme, but it's not playing the tune when the bell is pressed

Hey there,

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally. If that does not bring up the option, please let me know.

Best regards,
Brad

Hi everyone,

@Johnpigg you may also try reinstalling your Google Home app. Then you may perform a simple restart to your WiFi router and mobile device. Let us know how it goes.

I appreciate the help, Brad.

Best,
Emerson
