Hello. I have bought the nest doorbell and as someone who is technologically clued up I am struggling to connect the doorbell to my Wi-Fi. I have internet connection and during the process it fails to connect. Tried loads of times.
does the chimes need to be connected?
the button is blue but been orange a couple of times. Some of the error codes are NC009 21 and 24. Please help!

A few questions — what type of doorbell are you setting up? Is your Nest app updated? Have you set any firewall or a you using a public Wi-Fi?

Hi Steve, it’s the Google Neat Doorbell (wired) it’s connected twice and I got stream to my phone. But after 5-6mins it went offline and gives my NC009 error code and says doorbell offline. Worth noting I haven’t connected the chimes as I believe I can use the google audio as a Chime?

Appreciate the reply. How is your Nest Doorbell wire setup without a chime? Are you still using the provided chime connector?
I would recommend to follow this diagram if you wish to connect your Nest Doorbell (wired) without a chime.
