I have two exterior Google Nest Cameras that were purchased less than one year ago. Recently, both cameras stopped charging (one first, then the second one month later). I have tried swapping out the charging cables but nothing seems to work. It appears that both batteries have died and are not able to re-charge.

If your cameras are less than a year old, you could try contacting Google Nest Support to see if you can get the cameras or charging cords replaced. Some customers in this forum have reported problems with the charging cord that comes with the camera.
Do you plug in the charging cord with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera?
We've had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) for a year now, plugged in with the optional power cable, and it stays charged all the time.

When the camera is plugged in for charging, the LED status light should pulse white:

Hey nastasi,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. A few questions: what's the status light of your cameras? Are you able to view the camera feed? Did you receive any notification from the Google Home app? To check the battery state, follow the steps below.
Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Thanks,
Archie
