My doorbell used to work perfectly all day every day. Recently it has been running very hot and will shut off several times a day. This happens through out the day. Doesn't matter if it's hot outside or not and if the doorbell is in sunlight or shade.
Because the doorbell is so hot all the time it shuts off. Even when it's on it will now miss people at the door often. If they ring the bell it will snap them, but a delivery that leaves things without ringing the bell will be missed quite often now.
The ring light is now 1/4 red and 2/3 washed out green.
So, is my doorbell dying? Is there anyway to fix it?

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I am terribly sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time with this! I would love to look into this issue further and help find a solution for you. First off, I have some questions I’d like to ask you.
Do you still need help with this issue?
What troubleshooting steps have you done thus far?
Have you tried to restart your device if you haven’t already?
If the restart didn’t work, have you tried to do a Factory Reset? This would be a last resort option, but would clear out issues and the device would essentially be ‘brand new’
