Nest Indoor Cam keeps powering off

I'm having a rather odd issue where my Indoor Cam keeps powering itself off for a period of time before starting up again. The light on the front goes off (I have it set up so that the light shouldn't go off in any other circumstances - I also don't have it set up to switch off on a schedule or when away from home) and I loose the stream. After a while it comes back on or if I turn the power off and on.

It feels warm to the touch, but not sure if that's just a normal, expected heat.

It's not the power socket, which has been used for other things, without issue. I've also tried switching away from the Nest-branded USB socket for a different one, and with a slightly higher power output too, but the same occurred with that.

The cam is 25 months old.

Any ideas from anyone? Has anybody else experienced this at all?
