Nest Outdoor Camera and Floodlight installation

This product is not yet installed but I have a newbie question. I hope to use an existing exterior floodlight location on the side of my garage and there is both an exterior outlet and an interior outlet within 25 feet of this location.

Can this product be installed so that you don't see any exterior cables? And will there be something that gets plugged in to the outlet at all times? if an exterior outlet is used, it seems too easy for a thief to unplug it.

Thank you!

I may not understand, but you said that you have an existing exterior floodlight location? Then you would simply replace that existing floodlight. The Nest Cam Floodlight device does not have a plug for an "outlet", it hardwires to the same wires that your existing floodlight used, or to any exiting wiring that is already there. It does not plug into an outlet.
