Nest Wired Indoor Camera

Foxcon123

Purchased a nest wired indoor camera.  Live in an apartment complex that requires all devices be whitelisted on spectrum community wifi.  This requires the Mac address but looks like the only way to get the Mac address is connecting the device to wifi.  Cannot connect the device to wifi without the Mac address.  Brilliant!  Setting up on Hotspot isn't working.  Just want the Mac address.  Google doesn't respond to inquiries.

That's a real Catch-22 dilemma.

The post below from this forum has a workaround posted by "paigemetzman". They had a friend create a hot spot using their phone, and then the Nest customer connected to that hot spot. You can check it out and see if it works for you.
