I recently noticed that I have not be getting notifications from my nest battery Doorbell. So the other day I charged it and re-installed it, everything seemed fine except the white sensor light does not come on as you approach the doorbell. So I don’t get the notifications like I use too.
I’ve tried many times to reset, remove and/or start over installing the doorbell. Nothing seems to work.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To confirm, are you referring to the white light ring or the small dot light? Have you tried getting the notification with a different mobile phone? Try turning off and on your notification settings and reinstall your Nest app and Google Home app. You may also consider setting up an activity zone. Looking forward to your response.

Hi Emerson,
I messed with the notification button and the activity zone option. It appears I’m getting notifications now. But the big round white light does not come on every time like it did in the past. I noticed it coming on one time when it was close to dusk when I walked up to the doorbell. But not every time.
Anyway, it’s working.
