Nest battery doorbell

Russandconnie

I have the battery nest cam in my entryway.  Is constantly telling me that there's somebody in my entryway who is 30 feet away on my sidewalk at the street. Is there a way to adjust the distance before it notifies me of somebody in my entryway.

I have a lot of people walking down my sidewalk, and I don't want it to let me know when there's somebody walking down the sidewalk

It really depends on how your doorbell is aimed and whether you can create an activity zone (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9207697) for your street and the area at the end of your yard.

We have three 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells. The one at the front door has an activity zone for the public sidewalk and street, and we have notifications turned off for that activity zone. Once in a great while we get an erroneous notice for someone walking down the pubic sidewalk, and we do NOT get any notifications for anything on the street.
