Nest cam outdoor

My nest cam does not video 24 hours. It is not on battery but it says it is. It is plugged in to an electrical outlet. This is from my outside camera. What do I need to do? I need 24-hour viewing and I paid for the subscription for 24-hour video feed

Is your camera plugged in with the 5-meter or 10-meter optional power cable? Some posts in this forum seem to indicate using the 1-meter charging cord that comes with the camera may not work to power the camera.

Is your power cable plugged in with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera? (It looks awkward, but that's the way it works.). Is the USB plug seated securely?  (The plug is kind of fragile.)

Was your camera plugged in during the installation process? It seems that during the installation, this causes the camera to recognize that it is plugged in and running on household current.  This seems to be a hidden setting that can only be set during the installation process.

Under Settings | Video History, is "60-day event and 10-day 24/7 video history" selected?

Under Settings | Battery, does it say "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol?

We've had a battery camera since Sept. 2021, plugged in with the 10-meter power cable and it's been "Live" and online ever since, recording 24/7.
