during the day it's fine but at night it shows this light which is coming from internally not reflecting as we turned all lights off and it was still there.

We unplugged and replugged it in and it was okay for a while but as soon as we turned the outside light on and off it was back.

Do you by any chance have your camera looking out a window? If so, that's probably a reflection from the infrared night vision lights in your camera shining through the glass. The cameras don't do will behind a window at night.
