Nest camera 2nd Gen won't connect

Hello, I recently moved and I am trying to connect my wired Nest 2nd Generation to my wifi, but it says to move my phone or router closer.

The camera is right next to my phone and the router is in the same room. I have a Nest Mini connected even further away, why won't my camera connect?

I do not have the QR code anymore so I am putting in the 6-digit Setup code.

I tried resetting my router and modem and nest camera and even my phone, to no avail.

The blue light on my camera is on. What am I doing wrong?

You said you recently moved, so was your camera by any chance previously connected to a Wi-Fi network at your previous residence? If so, did you remove the camera from your Google Home app before you moved while you were still on the old Wi-Fi network, and then do a factory reset?

If not, then your camera is still configured to access your old Wi-Fi network.

Google Nest does not make it easy to change Wi-Fi settings. Hence, their first recommendation is to set the network name (SSID) and password on your new router/modem to the same values on your old router/modem. These are Google Nest's instructions:

I figured it out, I did remove the device from my old home as well as selected the nest cam with a battery, even though mine is wired I guess it works with the battery version? Thank you.

I can't speak to what happens with options selected during the install, but I'm glad you got it working.
