Nest camera notification

I have my cameras set up to notify me when it detects movement. My cameras only notify me about 1 out of 20 times. What do I do to fix this?

I got the cameras hung and it is working great now. I believe what was happening is I was not allowing enough time between each time I walked in front of the camera. Which I like because I don’t get multiple notifications about one incident. Thanks for the help though

@Canslejs

If you have the Google Nest Camera (Battery) operating on battery power, then it is in "Idle" mode most of the time, and--in our experience--slow to wake up to detect and record an event, and may not wake up at all.

You could try increasing "Wake-up sensitivity" in your cameras' settings.

We have our camera plugged in all the time with the optional power cable, and it does a good job of detecting events during the day, but not so good at night. It's comparable--plugged in--to our older Google Nest cameras.
