Nest camera power supply connection

I have two nest cameras but neither are usable at the moment as the power supple cable cannot maintain connection to the camera. Only if you hold the cable in a certain orientation will it provide power to the camera and even then that’s intermittent. I’ve tried all combinations of cables, plugs and cameras and have tried cleaning fluff out of socket on the device but it just doesn’t fit snugly to maintain the connection.
