Just spent $3100 on a Nest camera setup for my entire home, doorbell too — just to find out that they don’t connect to my Samsung Smartfridge hub? But Ring products do??? Seriously?
am I doing something wrong or did google royally drop the ball on a deal with Samsung? If I knew this prior to ordering them I’d have gotten Ring instead 100%, and suggest to everyone I know going forward to stay away from the google camera ecosystem — regardless of them even having a smartfridge; this is a shortcoming that implies many other shortcomings I’ve yet to find in the google camera product line.
These are the most expensive cameras on the market and somehow they lack capabilities with the best smartfridge? Get your team to work and figure this out please. Or at least point me towards a direction where I can write to someone with authority in your business unit that might be able to make change. If Nest is losing market share, things like this is why.

My nest cameras & 1 doorbell have always loaded on my samsung smart refrigerator. That said, did a refrigerator software update today & 1 of 3 cameras stopped loading. Not sure what's going on.

Hi folks,
@Nicosuave, I understand where you're coming from. Let's go ahead and sort things out. To confirm, do you still have the box of your Samsung fridge? If so, kindly check if you see the "Works with Nest" badge? Also, what is the light status of your Nest Camera? Do you see any error messages? Let us know your update.
@DrJ1001, have you contacted Samsung about this? Do you have a way to check the update history of your Samsung fridge? Try restarting the offline Nest Camera and let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Emerson
