Hello all,
I just starting to gathering some nest hubs and speakers round the house.
I also have a Nest doorbell. But now when someoe is ringing at my doorbel my whole house blew the chime.
Quit anoying. sometime when we have a late delivery and the kids are sleeping the chime goes on there bedroom..
Why isn't it possible to connect the doorbell to specific devices?? looks like a very basic aplication.
Or am i missing something? and is it possible?
Dont want to create another house for solution.

many many people have complained in this forum as well about this. The only thing you can do is to turn off ALL notifications on the device. Which of course is a very unsatisfactory solution. People have been asking for Google to address this for many months and nothing has happened.
The other thing people have been asking for is to get alerts on the speaker and hub devices if someone simply walks by. The phone can get such alerts but the speaker and hub devices can not.

Welk thats a bummer.
its Just rediculess that you have to " mute" all other devices.
Making them useless actually for this problem.
Hope Google will see the frustration that Manny users have. And give a update quik.

This has been an issue for a hot minute, so I completely get your frustrations. I personally, think it would be great if there was an option to decide which speakers & displays have chimes enabled or not. I know that this has been requested before, I do not know if there is a solution at this time. I appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to provide it.
Best regards,
Brad.
