Hi All,
My nest doorbell 1st generation constantly goes offline and than back online. Also the doorbell suddenly gongs and keeps going, without anyone pressing the doorbell. It almost caused fire in our house.
Therefore I want to replace the doorbell by a new one, but as i heard of the 2nd generation doorbell, is it already deliverable in Europe ( Belgium).
Would be stupid to buy the first generation when there's a second generation doorbell, of the second generation will be released soon in Europe.
Thank you for the response.
Kevin

Hello, I'm an end user like you except I'm here in the U.S. With all due respect to Google I can't recommend the newer doorbells because they only work on the Google Home app which still has many limitations compared to the older NEST app. You may want to consider a doorbell from another company that is officially supported in your country. I bought the new Google Doorbell and ended up returning it and buying a used one from an Ebay seller and I'm very happy.

Hi KevinKo80,
Thanks for posting. We love that you're excited, but we don't have any news to share about the Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) availability in Belgium. However, both the Nest Hello and the Nest Doorbell (battery) are available in the Google Store.
You can follow the steps here if your doorbell is offline.
Thanks, EmptyNester, for your insights. Our team is working hard to deliver the best experience for our users; we'll take this as feedback.
I hope that helps.
Best,
Lance
