I recently bought the Nest doorbell (battery), and initially it worked really well. Now, however, after a couple of weeks it has stopped notifying the smart speakers in my house when the doorbell is rung.
All phones associated with our Google Home account are notified, but the smart speakers have stopped announcing that the doorbell has been rung?!
None of the smart speakers have do not disturb set or anything like that, and I've checked all the settings of the doorbell itself and can't see anything that says it's set to notify phones but not smart speakers etc.
So I'm at a bit of a loss as to what has happened - and how to resolve it? We've already missed the door a few times because our phones are on silent and the smart speakers haven't alerted us...
