Nest doorbell battery vehicle recordings not appearing in full history

I have a issue with the Nest doorbell battery vehicle recordings not appearing in full history. I can see the recordings in the timeline but they don't appear in the full history list. They appear for zone 1 being closest to the the doorbell but outside of zone 1 they don't appear in full history list.  Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I can imagine that with this issue with missing footage for vehicles, it's been hard to find the info you need within the app. I would love to assist you further!

• Have you tried to restart your Nest Hello Battery Doorbell yet? I would definitely restart it first and see if that improves the vehicle footage. You can learn how to restart your doorbell here. 
• Make sure to go through your settings with alerts and check to make sure the correct notification are enabled.
• How far away is your doorbell from the road?
• What other troubleshooting steps have you done thus far?

Hi Brad thank you for responding yes I restarted the door bell and triple checked my settings in which I have vehicles turned on for outside zone 1. Only thing I am thinking is the distance which the road is about 10 meters. Is that to far for the doorbell to pickup? I previously had the nest Hello version 1 doorbell and it didn't have any issues picking up vehicles on the road.

I am very glad to hear that you were able to do some other troubleshooting. That is strange that it is not picking up the vehicles, but I think its possible it has to do with the specs. I have an article that goes over the tech specs, and it shows some information you may find very helpful. The article can be found here. Because it is such a new product, there is still a lot of information that we are learning about, and so I do not have a for sure reason why it is not picking up vehicles, especially if the setting is turned on. 

I hope that we will have additional information on the matter here soon, but in the meantime, check out that article and see if it can answer some of your questions. Please let me know if you need further assistance, and I will see what else we can find.
