Hi @Foxhollow,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing some inconveniences connecting your Nest Doorbell (battery). I'm happy to assist you.

Since you mentioned you have performed a factory reset on your doorbell, please try again or confirm that you followed the steps below:

  1. Remove your doorbell from its mount and connect it to a USB-C charging cable.
  2. Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the doorbell (below the charging port).
  3. Insert and hold the pin ( you can use an unfolded paperclip or a thumbtack):
    • The status light will blink yellow four times, and you'll hear a countdown tone.
    • Between 20 and 30 seconds, the status light will be steady, solid yellow while the doorbell starts the factory reset, and you'll hear a confirmation tone.
  4. Release the button. Your doorbell will restore to its factory settings.
  5. After the factory reset, your doorbell will appear as “Offline” in the app until you remove it.
  6. To remove it from the app, open the app, then tap Settings > Remove device > Confirm.
  7. Finally, try to connect your doorbell to the Google Home app.

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Anders
