Nest doorbell doesn’t ring your phone?

Hi google team,

how come the doorbell doesn’t ring my phone but just gives me one push notification?

I can’t imagine developers being soooo lame. It’s a show stopper. I want to return the product now… 

so disappointed…

is there any way to set up my doorbell to RING my phone?

Unfortunately, this is only possible with 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells (we have 3 of them) through the Google Nest app, and not with 2nd gen Google Nest doorbells through the Google Home app.
