Doorbell rarely locked into cradle has fallen out numerous times, this time it broke into 2 pieces and tore the charger cable, so frustrated. It's 18 days out of warranty and the tech I spoke with said nothing can be done, and hasn't heard of any customers with the same issue yet when you Google the issue of not locking in the cradle there are 100's of posts with the same issue. Seems like a class action suit. $200 flushed down the toilet.

There are numerous posts in this forum from customers whose battery doorbells don't stay mounted; it's a real problem for a doorbell that needs to get dismounted frequently to charge the battery.
Maybe a Google Nest Community Specialist will see your post here, and provide a "form" for you to fill out for further action.
