Nest doorbell peeling

Help! Doorbell is peeling and looks terrible ☹️

Two of our three Google Nest Hello Doorbells are peeling. Since Google Nest says they "cannot" replace the doorbells if they are past the 1-year warranty period, we bought silicone "skins" on Amazon to cover the peeling shards.
