Just added a nest battery doorbell to the set up. Only issue is when the doorbell is pressed the announcement is via all speakers (1 in each room). I work shift work and sleep during some days so really don’t want it going off while I’m sleeping.
Anyway to Isolate the announcement to specific rooms? No option if a find under visitor announcements.

I'm just another Google Nest customer, but there is no option to restrict "Visitor announcements" to specific rooms or speakers (even though customers in this forum keep asking). The only thing you can do is to set a specific Nest Hub or Nest Mini to "Do not disturb".

Thank you, one day maybe but do not disturb will save me for now.

I have been reading about this now for hours! I have the same issue...and I am SUPER upset that Google have not been able to fix this issue. Does Google do Google app home updates? I am new to google, but so far extremely disappointed with this problem. I am about to remove my google doorbell that I installed yesterday and go back to my Ring.

Only work around is I put it on do not disturb when I’m on night shift. Just have to remember to turn that off

Not ideal for my house. I have 8 speakers, do I’ll have to turn 6 on as nd off every day.

Hi there,
Thanks for bringing up the concern you're having. I'd love to look into this for you. Unfortunately, there isn't an option to isolate the alerts to certain speakers. As long as you have smart displays or speakers with Visitor Announcements enabled, you'll get the notifications unless you manually turn on Do Not Disturb.
Best regards,
Brad

I’m returning the Google doorbell and reinstalling my old RING doorbell. This was a disappointment. Plus, no distinctive notification on iPhone when out of the house.
