Hi,

When would the 2nd gen of the NEST doorbell be available in Europe? I will not buy the 1st Gen, knowing that a 2nd gen has been release almost 1 year ago.

Hello dsav,

We love that you're excited, but we don't have any news to share about Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd Gen) availability in Europe.

Keep an eye on the Google Nest Community page for any updates.

Best,

Lance

It is à pity that we are not given any release date. As I need a new doorbell and cameras, I might switch to another brand.

Hi @Sesame_Madness

Thank you for the suggestion, but voltage is different.

Hi @dsav it not really is, old nest hello in Europe works from 12 till 24 Volts AC and the new doorbell wired gen 2 works from 16 till 24 Volts AC so unless you are running your old doorbell on just a 12 Volts AC power supply it will work if you use a power supply between 16 and 24 Volts AC

You can check for yourself here also in case you not are sure if I am correct
