Nest doorbell wired won't connect to my wifi first time setting it up

My nest doorbell wired 2 gen is not connecting to my wifi. I have tried resetting but it just won't connect.  It keeps saying "can't connect to wifi, please check your wifi password" and I have tried and checked my wifi password so many times. I don't know what the issue is.

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out. A few questions: Is this a new setup, or was it set up before? If it's the latter, were there any recent changes made? What phone are you using (Android or iOS)? Try the steps below and let me know the result.

  1. Ensure that your camera is within 15 - 20 ft (4 - 6 m) of the Wi-Fi router.
  2. Make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are both turned ON on your phone or tablet.
  3. Turn OFF mobile/cellular data.
  4. Reboot your router. Most routers just require that you unplug the power source and then plug it back in to reboot.
  5. Reboot your camera by removing the power cable, then reconnect it.

I appreciate your help, EmptyNester.

Regards,

Juni
