I replaced an existing nest hello and got the doorbell to work but had to replace a transformer. It connected but wasn’t ringing. I did not replace the chime connector. I replaced the chime connector but now it won’t power on. I tried to restart it but no luck. The transformer I have is Interek 5015490. It’s two wire chime connector.

The "chime connectors" for all of our Google Nest Hello Doorbells have 4 wires. The new 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell has a 2-wire "chime puck". If that's what you have, other customers have reported faulty "chime pucks":

Hi everyone,
@chillout22 thanks for posting here in the community and we appreciate you sharing the make and model of your transformer. Let’s get the most out of your Nest doorbell and see what we can do here. For starters, do you have the wired or battery type of Nest doorbell? Have you tried reinstalling your old Nest doorbell to see if it's still working with your current chime connector and transformer?
Also, give these steps a whirl:

Check Nest doorbell compatibility
Upgrade your transformer for Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen)
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Emerson

It's still not working. I bought the Zenith transformer as suggested and it's making a humming sound.

Hey chillout22,
Thanks for trying to isolate the issue with your Nest Hello doorbell (wired). Let’s sort this out — a few questions: what’s the voltage of your transformer? How’s the temperature of the doorbell (warm, hot, cold or normal)? What country are you located in? Has there been any recent power outage in your area? Also, has it been exposed to direct sunlight?
I appreciate the help here, MplsCustomer, Emerson and Brad.
Thanks,
JT
