I have 6 Nest Cams and 10 nest thermostats. All have been working well on the NEST APP.
I pay the subscription so that I can see 24/7 history.
One of my older outdoor Nest Cams stopped working.
The only choice was to by the new Outdoor Nest battery cam.
I bought the new cam from the Google Nest store. I went to set it up and it automatically set up a GOOGLE HOME APP. It moved all of the older Nest cams to Google Home as well as the cameras.
Nest technical support said to see the older camera 24/7 history I need to open the Nest app.
If I want to see the 24/7 history for the new replacement cam I have to open the Google Hime app.
all of my cameras are on the same hime structure.
The ENGINEERING TEAM AT nest did a terrible job adding a new camera AND forcing the customer to use TWO apps to see the 24/7 history
very disappointing
nest is moving backwards rather than forward
