Nest outdoor cable housing has split badly on multiple cameras

The white plastic housing on the cable for my nest outdoor cams has split badly in multiple places. This was not the result of any trauma. It's happened on two of our cameras (we have several at our business). I'm a big fan of Nest cameras, but this is an inexcusable lack of quality for an "outdoor" product. They're less than three years old. I've had no luck from customer support because they're out of warranty, and obviously because the cables are hardwired into the camera they're basically garbage once the inevitable short happens. Yes, I can tape them up, but these are nest cams, not some cheap piece of junk (though I've never had a cable housing just split for no reason, no matter how cheap it was) and Google should stand by their product, not force me into janky repairs.  Anyone have advice on who to elevate this to?
