Hello, I recently changed to a new broadband provider, I’m setup using there new wifi6 hub. I’m having trouble connecting my outdoor cam that was previously setup fine. I have put my router in 2.4GHZ mode only, disabled my 5GHz signal and moved the router within 3/3.5 feet of the camera, it still can’t connect to the WiFi. Anything else I can try?

You may already have tried some of these steps but I'll link to them in full:

Hello, sorry for a late reply, but thanks for replying. To cut a long story short, Ihave upgraded my old WiFi 5 mesh system to a WiFi 6 system and disconnected the ISP provided router and I can confirm range is not the issue as when I put the router in 2.4GHZ mode only I can walk into my garden (6/7 feet past the camera and the range drops to 2 bars) because I haven’t been able to access the plug easily to turn it on and off for a reset, I disconnected all the downstairs sockets at the mains and re turned them back on (presumably this has the same effect for the camera reset) and the nest camera still can’t find any WiFi, just says looking for WiFi, it still can’t find my neighbours. My nest front door cam(doorbell) has had no issue connecting to any router and it is further away through basically 2 walls, instead of just the 1 wall. Any ideas or suggestions to help me connect? Or is my camera broke in some way?
many thanks 🙂
Also to add, I have tried following that guide, but still no good.

So you've changed Wi-Fi information. Did you follow these steps?

Thanks for replying again David.
I did a factory reset and just removed the product from my nest account.
Tried it on the google home app and the nest app but still no good, there is a blue light on the camera that slowly pulses.
also for reference I removed my doorbell camera again in case I was doing something wrong or I missing the obvious and it managed to find several WiFi networks (my neighbours and also my own which it connected to fine)
thanks for any reply hopefully you can help me find a solution 🙂

No idea what I did but after coming home from work I thought I’d try it and it worked! Not sure why or anything but thanks for the assistance!
