Nest outdoor camera reset

My Nest Cam outdoor was configured as battery powered and now I bought a power cable and want to convert it to plug in mode. Can you please help with how this can be done? I might need to factory reset the cam ?

We've had a battery camera for over 3 years and it's been plugged in since we've had it. Judging from some posts in this forum, it seems that the Google Nest install procedure somehow flags the camera as plugged in IF it is plugged in during the install procedure, and this is not a setting that is accessible or changeable, so you may need to remove your camera, do a factory reset, and reinstall it with the power cable.
