Nest outdoor camera wire was peeling

I bought this Nest outdoor cam two years ago, and I found the wire was peeling. This is so dangerous, i am not sure if it will cause fire and burn my house.

I contacted customer service, they told me it was out of warranty, they only can give me $20 credit of Google store.

Do you really think I still want to buy anything from Google?? This is an outdoor camera and costed over $100, I deserve an explanation of this product quality.
