New Nest Cam (Battery) not recording at night

fennd3867

I have 2 new Nest Cams (Battery) and they don't seem to be recording any nighttime activity. I have zones set up and they work as intended during the day, but as soon as the sun sets, they stop recording. However I can get live video at night, just no recording. I have the Nest Aware Pro subscription and using the Home app on IOS to manage. Is there a schedule for recording that you need to set up so it is active 7/24? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

I have this same problem with my two new Nest Cams (battery). Not using activity zones, have Nest Aware subscription. Cannot get them to record ANYTHING at night, even when I have obvious critters rummaging through my trash and leaving footprints everywhere. Older Nest Cams (wired) work fine. Very frustrating, this is core functionality!
