Good morning all,
I'm looking at biting the bullet and purchasing a few of the new Nest Cam's which will be permanently installed outside of my home and hardwired. They will likely be placed fairly high so I will also be purchasing the Wesserstein lock assembly.
In all the advertising photos I see, the camera mount is flush against the wall, with the camera placed such that it is viewing straight outward. One of the locations I need a camera is on my garage looking out over my driveway. However the driveway runs perpendicular to the garage (pull up driveway, sharp 90 degree turn into garage). If I place the mount on the wall of the garage, can I pivot the camera so it's looking down the driveway instead of straight ahead?
Thanks!

There is a standard mount screw thread, which the Google store neglects to include, on the bottom. So you can buy in any retailer any standard camera mount for mounting on your home. I am using my old Arlo mounts. When setting up the camera, make sure to choose, unsupported mount. Otherwise the camera is looking for the magnetic base. More undocumented crud they dont tell you before buying, thanks Google,
