New Nest Cams

I have all the NEST products (12+ cameras, doorbell, smoke detector, 6 thermostats). These products have provided a great experience. I can access from my MAC computer (Web Browser), Phone, iPad which makes life very simple and easy to use. I prefer to use the computer when at a fixed location as the display is much larger!

I ordered a new battery camera a couple of weeks ago and it does not work from a web browser (my Mac). It only works from my phone? Why would we lose functionality with a new camera when this has been working for years!

Definitely disappointed, was much better when owned by NEST!

I will be migrating away from your products if this is the future direction.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration. 

 

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
