New doorbell won’t connect

I have tried all the  following multiple times and nothing has helped 

- restart phone

- log out and log back in to google home  

-factory reset bell

-restart router

When connecting to wifi it keeps throwing a "can’t connect to assisting device 

I just installed a google nest hub today on my phone and had no issues. 

My phone multiple other devices are working flawlessly on the same internet connection. I already have one google nest doorbell and had zero issues.

I have the exact same issues, and have yet been able to resolve.

Hi folks,

 

Sorry to hear about that. Let's check on this further. A few questions: what type of Nest Doorbell are you adding? How far is it from the other Nest device?

 

You can try these steps below:

  1. Move devices closer to the router and Nest device during setup.
  2. Use a different mobile phone.
  3. Create a new home and add the device.
