New outdoor battery cam won't show in nest app

I just got a new "nest" camera and I had to set it up in Google home sure.ok done and it works but won't show up on my nest app with my other nest devices. This needs to be fixed quickly at this price point or this will be considered fraud.

Hi Scott,

The new Nest Cam Battery and Nest Doorbell Battery only work with the Google Home app. 

From the Google Home app you can view the live stream from all of your cameras, as well as event recordings. 

Google has committed to bringing over more functionality from the Nest app, to the Home app, so you can manage all of your devices in one place. 

I hope this clarifies things.

This was a pretty big oversight imo. Google should have made sure the Home app was ready to host all existing products prior to the release and proprietary features the new Nest cams have within the Home app. I knew going in it was going to be this way but I wanted all my cameras to be under “one roof”. Now instead of using Nest app and another brand of camera and their app, I’m using Nest and Home and Home still cripples many functions of the Nest app. Is there a timeline on this? The whole Home app could use a refresh. The Nest app is much better. 

I bought a nest product that does not work with nest software. That's fraud.
