New user: Cam and doorbell keep recording me even though I’m a familiar face. Also is there somethi?

New user with Outdoor Indoor cam and wired 2nd gen doorbell. How come I keep getting recordings of my self even though I’m a familiar face. Also is there something with recognizing the presence of your phone.

Google Nest's "familiar face detection" (which we don't use) is supposed to add the person's name to the notification for familiar faces, and notify you when it detects an unknown person so you can add their name.

There is no capability to EXCLUDE notifications for familiar faces.
