Night vision stuck on during daylight

I have nest cam indoor/ outdoor battery that is stuck in night mode causing pink vision during the day. I have reset camera and it works fine during that first day and night vision comes on after dark but the next day it is back to pink again, this is the second camera to have this problem. Can you help please. 




Have you tried toggling the "Night vision" setting from "On" to "Off" to "Auto"?

Already tried this still not working. Wouldn’t recommend these cameras, second one to develop this fault.

Thanks for trying. Let’s further check this — how’s the temperature of the camera (hot, warm, cold or normal)? 

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can also try:

  1. Unplug the camera from the power source, wait for 30 seconds, and plug the camera back in. To view the steps on how to restart your doorbell, have a look at this article: Restart or factory reset Nest camera or doorbell.
  2. Ensure the camera is installed in a supported location and not in an area prone to overheat or direct sunlight.
  3. Unplug the camera from its power source and reposition it after it’s had sufficient time to cool.

thanks have tried everything and in the end sent camera back exchanged for another one (the third) this is working fine now
