I can’t hear any sound when viewing in the Nest app live or on any recordings. Also, when I press the talk button, I don’t hear a chime nor do I hear myself speaking. I tried restarting the camera. I have not tried to reset the camera. I wanted to see if anyone else would have a solution before I reset.

Thanks for reaching out. Let's see what's going on. What type of Nest Camera are you using and when did this start? Also, is this happening on multiple phones?

I have 3 nest cameras 1 with a IQ and 2 older nest cameras I really can’t say when it started but yes I am having the same problem with different phones.IPhone 11 and 12 plus the person outside can hear me talk but I can’t hear them when they talk and yes I know there is going to be a delay I understand that. And I have a new camera with the flood light and I don’t have any problems with it and I have a doorbell camera and I don’t have any problems with it. And all the settings are the same that you can adjust the IQ you can’t adjust anything.

Have you tried to Restart or even Factory Reset your cams that are not working?

Yes, still not working. I have a Nest indoor camera and a Nest doorbell. Both cameras have not had sound play on the app or sound coming from the speakers for about a month now.
