No events detected and peeling/flaking plastic

I've been experiencing an issue with the Nest Hello and a lot of "No events detected" messages.  I have Nest Aware Plus and the other cameras seem to record and upload fine, but the Hello has been having a lot of issues lately.  I've looked at some other threads and people reported upgrading their subscription fixed the issue, but I'm already on the continuous recording plan.

Today I tried removing the camera from my account and factory resetting it.  I added it back to the account, but the same problem persists.  I also switched it to a different Wi-Fi network when this started, but that didn't fix it either.

Also, I don't know if it's related, but the plastic on the front of the Hello is starting to peel off.

Does anyone know of any solutions?

My front door Nest Hello started doing this about 4 weeks ago and Google has been unable to help me so far. It worked flawlessly for 2 years before this and my backdoor Nest Hello still works fine. I am also on the Nest Aware Plus subscription, so it should be recording continuously. Changing wifi networks does not seem to fix it and I have a very good wifi signal at the doorbell. I have found no solution so far.

Call Nest support and have your serial number ready. Tell them you are an active Nest aware subscriber and people have been reporting getting their cameras replaced. Mine was replaced outside of the warranty after I called in and the replacement works great. There is clearly a problem with the Nest Hello and it's almost class action material. Countless people are reporting problems on here and Reddit. They sent me a refurbished camera valued at $38 per their own email, so be persistent. They can afford to replace it.

Hey Folks.

As a replacement was provided, at this time, I'll go ahead and lock this thread. If you're still experiencing problems, feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.
