Hello,
I have three Google Nest cameras (Indoor x2 - Outdoor x1)
I have carried out multiple tests, reset the factory settings, uninstalled and reinstalled all the devices.
Unfortunately, I still have the same problem.
To detect any motion, they have to be permanently activated (green light on).
If the cameras are not activated (green light off), the cameras don't detect any movement.
Can you help me?
Thank you for your support.

What are you doing to turn off the green LED status light, which indicates everything is working normally, your Google Nest camera is turned on, connected to a Wi-Fi network, is processing images in its view, and could be recording?

Do you have your cameras turned off?
The LED status light is always green on all of our Google Nest cameras and doorbells.

Thank you for your reply. English isn't my native language, so I may have misspoken earlier. I wanted to explain that when I manually activate my home cameras on GoogleHome, the green light turns on, on the cameras that detect motion.
But when I manually deactivate the cameras (and the green light on my cameras is off), the motion detection no longer works afterwards.
For example, I can't leave my outdoor camera on all the time because the battery would drain very quickly. Regarding the indoor cameras, I have to turn off the video when I'm at home to avoid constant motion detection. Thanks for your support.

If you turn your cameras off, they cannot detect motion:
"When your Nest camera is turned off with the Home or Nest app, it won't detect sound or motion, stream live video, or record and save activity."

Thank you very much for your support.
Thanks to you, I now understand why there was no motion detection. ;o)
